At SMA Healthcare, Inc. we feel privileged to participate in the professional development of future mental health professionals and seek to offer the highest quality training experience possible through our Internship Program. SMA offers opportunities for Master’s Level Clinical Internships at a number of sites for students completing the fieldwork portion of their degree. Internships are also available for Bachelor’s Level students pursuing a variety of clinical and non-clinical degrees. We offer sites in a variety of settings across six (6) counties under the supervision of our licensed clinical supervisors. Internship opportunities are based on the availability of each site to host an intern.

Internship positions will require various background screenings which vary by site. The ability to formally offer an internship position is contingent upon a candidate passing background screenings. SMA has affiliation agreements with accredited universities. An internship with us is contingent upon SMA being able to coordinate an affiliation agreement with your program of study.
