The SMA Food Service in Marion County operates a full commercial kitchen that provides meals seven days per week for a total of five programs. In addition to gaining experience in a commercial kitchen, the Culinary Arts Program also offers the clients of the residential program the Food Safety Manager Certification.
The commercial kitchen at WARM in Flagler County provides breakfast/lunch/dinner seven days per week for not only the residents of WARM, but they also provide a special menu to meet the nutritional requirements for the children. In addition to gaining experience in a commercial kitchen, the Culinary ArtsProgram also offers the clients of WARM the Food Safety Manager Certification.

In addition to gaining experience in a commercial kitchen, the CulinaryArts Program also offers the clients of Work Release the Food Safety Manager Certification.
The Enrichment Program provides psychosocial rehabilitation and day training for adults with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and/or co-occurring disorders. This program was designed to help participants live and work more fully in the community and improve the quality of their lives. Services include screening and job matching, job development, job placement, onsite training assistance, and lifelong follow-along services to help the individual maintain employment.
SMA Healthcare’s Pharmacy provides clients and staff quick and easy access to medications prescribed by our psychiatrists, physicians, and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions covered by SMA’s health insurance provider cost the same as with any other pharmacy. There are also special programs available to SMA Pharmacy customers which offer a month supply of a variety of mental health medications at a reduced cost.
Walk-in screenings are available to assist the community in determining what services a person needs. Through a brief assessment, SMA’s team will identify what services are needed for each individual client; the client will then be linked to those services.
Prevention serves adolescents and adults through education and development of substance use harm reduction skills. The goal of prevention is to ensure that community members are aware of growing trends and dangers of new and existing substances that are affecting individuals, families, and the environment. Prevention services are provided in various capacities to include schools, churches, community centers, and attending community events.
Outreach services are primarily education based and designed to connect individuals with services they would benefit from. Outreach is provided in a variety of community and office-based settings.
