Crisis Services

SMA Healthcare’s Crisis and Response Center provides 24/7 emergency screening and admission to mental health crisis stabilization, drug abuse detoxifications and/or referral to other services.

The Crisis Triage and Treatment Unit (CTTU) is a program designed to meet the crisis service needs of Flagler and Putnam Counties. Working closely with area law enforcement agencies, the CTTU serves individuals in crisis who are in need of support and/or transportation to and from a crisis stabilization stay. This program also serves self-referral clients for screening, triage and referral, court ordered and other community referred behavioral screenings for mental health and/or substance abuse.

The Marion and Volusia County Crisis Stabilization Unit and Detoxification Services is a short-term residential facility for adults dealing with a mental health and/or substance use crisis. Individuals receive medication appropriate to their needs, individual and group counseling, and discharge planning toward the next appropriate level of care.

Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) provides a 24/7 on-demand crisis response at the location the crisis is occurring, including homes, schools, and other places. Telehealth option is available. Intervention and assessment, development safety/crisis plans, supportive crisis counseling, and linkage to appropriate resources are done at the visit.

The Children’s Crisis Stabilization Unit provides 24-hour emergency screening and admission for mental health crisis stabilization and/or referral to other services for youth 5-18 years of age.
