DAYTONA BEACH – SMA Healthcare is pleased to announce the addition of six new members to its Board of Directors – Kendell Hardwick, Brian Henderson, Michele Johnson, John Reid, Joyce Shanahan, and Robert Snyder. All board members will begin their terms immediately, and will serve a two-year term.
“We are thrilled to add such a diverse group of professionals to the SMA Healthcare Board of Directors,” said chief executive officer Ivan Cosimi. “I appreciate each of their commitments to our organization and look forward to working with them to ensure SMA Healthcare remains the leader of behavioral healthcare in our four-county area.”
Kendell Hardwick currently serves as a registered nurse for St. Johns County School District, and also volunteers for the St. Augustine Beach Police Department. Brian Henderson is the Chief of Operations for Volusia County Sheriff’s Office. Michele Johnson is the Chief Nursing Officer for AdventHealth Fish Memorial in Orange City. In addition to beginning serving on the SMA board, she currently sits on the Deltona High School Health Academy Advisory Board.
John Reid is an attorney at the Office of the State Attorney. Joyce Shanahan is the City Manager for the City of Ormond Beach, and has served with a number of local organizations, including the United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties, PACE School for Girls Volusia/Flagler, and the Rotary Club of Daytona Beach. Robert Snyder is an administrator for the State Department of Health in Flagler County.
