DAYTONA BEACH – SMA Healthcare (SMA) is pleased to announce the addition of Michelle Alvarez and Thomas Savone to its Board of Directors, effective immediately. The term for each board member will be two years.
“We are excited to welcome these accomplished individuals to our Board of Directors,” said SMA Healthcare board chairman James Rose. “We know they will bring insight, guidance, and expertise to our Board and will help our organization continue the good work we do.”
Michelle Alvarez currently works as the Accounting Leader at Brown & Brown of Florida. She also serves on the Board of Directors for YMCA Corporate and the United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties.
Thomas Savone is the owner of Thomas Savone & Associates, specializing in financial and client services. He also currently serves as a Board Member for the Flagler County Board of Realtors and is part of their finance committee.
