The SMA Healthcare Foundation is proud to announce that it is taking part in Give4Marion, a 24-hour giving campaign supporting non-profits in Marion County, Florida. Beginning September 21st at 10am, all donations to SMA through, will go to support SMA’s addiction and mental health services in Marion.

Didn’t know SMA provided services in Marion County? SMA merged with The Centers on July 1st and now provides a wide range of behavioral health services in that community. Services include crisis, residential and outpatient treatment, and SMA serves adults, adolescents and children.

How can you help?

To make your donation go farther, consider making a donation during specific times where matches are available or in ways that could help us win cash prizes!

Matches include giving on September 21st beginning at 12:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. and September 22nd at 9:00 a.m.. Each time-period match is $10,000 and goes until those funds run out.

The Foundation can win prizes if we are the non-profit who receives a donation from the farthest away from Marion County ($1,000) or if we receive a donation the closest to midnight ($750).

Every dollar counts to change the lives of children, adolescents, adults and their families!

  • $50 provides an intervention of crisis support service
  • $75 provides an outpatient therapy session
  • $175 provides a day in a substance abuse residential program
  • $300 provides a day of substance abuse detox
  • $350 provides a day in SMA’s mental health crisis unit
